Karon Beach - Phuket - Thailand

 In the south of Phuket there are situated three beaches, 
Patong beach, Karon beach and  Kata beach. 

The mass-tourism gathers at the castles of the hotels and vacation-apartments at the Patong - beach. During the day, the beach is as overcrowded as in Mallorca-Arenal. In the evening, the streets are filled with tourists from all angles of the world and with music from all boxes of the bars, that lie densely together.

Karon beach is already essentially more quietly, especially in the south, where the hotels lie already further apart. From the hotel Phuket Arkadia, one can go at the beach-street in southern direction in the evening and passes several restaurants. In front of the entrance there are nice wood-boats, filled fresh fish which lies on mountains of pushed ice.

One needs only to select the fish to decide whether it should be grilled on charcoal or whether it should be steamed on herbs. Lobsters, crabs, crawfishes, baracudas, squids, swordfish or tuna: Everything you like is immensely favorably and catch-fresh. A gaze on the sea shows that the fisher-boats are on the way again with gigantic lamps and catch the fish for the next day.

 And then we can enjoy the dinner - of course outside.
